Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Structural Design professional to produce concrete plan and section drawings and develop detailed steel structure drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. The role supports engineers, schedules columns/beams, and coordinates with other disciplines to resolve model clashes under moderate supervision.

You will have opportunities to mentor teammates and apply independent judgment on evolving design tasks while contributing to successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in structural design or related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years in structural design or related experience.
• Proficient in Revit/AutoCAD for concrete and steel drawings.
• Knowledge of coordination/clash resolution across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop concrete plan and section drawings.
• Support structural engineers with drawing development and layout.
• Complete red line mark-ups and address design comments.
• Work on steel structure drawing development.
• Perform pipe rack framing and layout tasks.
• Generate stair detailing plans and sections using Revit/AutoCAD.
• Schedule columns and beams.
• Coordinate cross-discipline model coordination and clash resolution.
• Adapt to additional assignments as needed.
