The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, a Texas PE, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. You will mentor EITs and collaborate with builders and clients.

Seeking an experienced Structural Designer/Engineer to support residential and multifamily projects, with a strong focus on wood-framed construction and high-end residential buildings. The role will involve structural analysis, design, drawing oversight, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for residential and multifamily buildings.
• Calculate gravity loads, size beams/framing members, and design wall bracing for wind loads.
• Design and evaluate wood-framed structural systems.
• Review structural drawings and calculations for quality and constructability.
• Provide technical solutions to builders, contractors, and clients.
• Mentor EITs and designers.
• Use Revit and AutoCAD for structural design and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Texas P.E. license required.
• Strong experience with wood-frame structural design.
• Experience with high-end residential and/or multifamily/apartment projects.
• Experience with gravity load calculations, beam sizing, and lateral wind/wall bracing design.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, project coordination, and quality-control skills.

Preferred: Experience with premier home builders, multiple framing systems, project/team management, and business development.
