Job summary

AllSTEM Connections is seeking an experienced Structural Designer/Engineer to support residential and multifamily projects, with emphasis on wood-framed construction. You will perform structural analysis, oversee drawings, and ensure quality.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, a Texas PE, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. You will mentor EITs and collaborate with builders and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Texas P.E. license required.
• Experience with wood-frame structural design.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for residential and multifamily buildings.
• Calculate gravity loads, size beams/framing members, and design wall bracing for wind loads.
• Design and evaluate wood-framed structural systems.
• Review structural drawings and calculations for quality and constructability.
• Provide technical solutions to builders, contractors, and clients.
• Mentor EITs and designers.
• Use Revit and AutoCAD for structural design and documentation.
