Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team across the United States. You will develop and update structural drawings and BIM models, coordinate building systems, and help produce clear construction documents for hyperscale data center projects.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in structural drafting/design, 1 year of Revit, and 3 years of AutoCAD experience, with strong teamwork and willingness to lead in some projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years drafting/design experience in structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit experience.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions with project teams.
• Assist in producing construction documents and BIM coordination.
• Contribute to design work organization for small projects or work packages.
• Follow project standards and procedures; share technical knowledge with teammates.
