Job summary

Ferrovial in the United States seeks a Structural Design Segment Manager to support design and plan production for major civil infrastructure projects. You will perform structural design calculations, develop plans, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate with design leads and senior structural staff.

Responsibilities include design and plan production for bridges and walls, design reviews and quality control, engineering decisions and optimizations, overseeing design workflow,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 4 years of professional experience in analysis and design of structures.
• PE license or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Structural design & plan production for bridges and minor structures during Design & Build.
• Design review, quality control and technical support on deliverables.
• Engineering decisions and design optimization with senior staff.
• Task-level design management & process oversight for assigned structures.
• Stakeholder & task-level coordination with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams.
• Quantity takeoffs and estimating; quality checks on backups.
• Multidisciplinary coordination and field support; site visits as needed.
