Ferrovial Construction seeks a Structural Design Segment Manager to lead design calculations, plan production, and coordination on major civil projects. You will work with design leads and senior engineers, ensuring compliance with standards and schedules.

The role requires a PE license or ability to obtain within a year, and experience with Bentley/Autodesk tools and open-design software suites. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential for field support and cross-team

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering is required.
• 4 years of professional experience in analysis and design of structures; at least 2 years in structural engineering/bridges/civil infrastructure.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) in any US state or ability to obtain within one year.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and plans; effective communication with teams.
• Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation or AutoCAD environments; experience with structural design software (OpenBridge Designer, SAP2000, SOFiSTiK).
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and meeting deadlines; excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural design tasks and plan production for bridges, walls, and minor structures during Design & Build.
• Conduct checks and due diligence on deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Make technical decisions and develop optimized, constructible designs with teams.
• Oversee workflow, quality, and alignment with schedules and project goals.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
• Estimate quantities and support field activities; assist with site observations.
