Ferrovial Construction in Tennessee seeks a Structural Design Segment Manager to lead design for major civil infrastructure projects. You’ll perform calculations, develop plans, check quality, and coordinate with clients and subconsultants to ensure constructible, compliant designs.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, adherence to standards, and timely delivery. A PE in the US or the ability to obtain one within a year is required, with experience in bridges and transportation

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
• 4 years of professional experience in analysis and design of structures; two years in structural engineering, bridge design or transportation projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) in any U.S. state or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural design tasks and plan production for bridges and minor structures during Design & Build phases.
• Conduct design checks, quality control, and provide technical support for subconsultants and clients.
• Make engineering decisions and optimize designs with senior staff.
• Oversee design execution, workflow, and quality for assigned packages to meet schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, owners, subconsultants, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Estimate quantities and support field activities with multidisciplinary teams.
