Job summary

STV Incorporated is actively seeking a Structural Design Engineer in our Transportation group, based in the Empire State Building office in New York, NY. The role focuses on design and analysis of bridges, rehabilitation, and seismic retrofit work in the NYC area.

Responsibilities include QA on transportation projects, development of drawings and specs, and involvement in Design Build pursuits. A PE is required with 5+ years of experience and familiarity with NY agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; PE required.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of New York agencies and projects: MTA, NYCDOT, NYSDOT, NYCDCC, Port Authority of NY.
• Experience in design calculations, plan details, quantity take-offs, and specification writing.
• Experience in analysis and design of bridges, including rehabilitation design.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Compensation

Range: $149,671.54 - $171,053.19

STV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner. The listed pay range is STV’s good‑faith salary estimate for this position. Please note that the final salary offered for this position may be outside of this published range based on many factors, including but not limited to geography, education, experience, and/or certifications.
