Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader in New York, NY to join the Transportation group. You will work as part of the Northeast bridge team, lead assigned tasks, coordinate with project engineers, and help develop budgets and schedules to deliver projects on time.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 8+ years of bridge inspection experience in NY/NJ, and a PE license with FHWA NHI Certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required; Master’s preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of bridge inspection experience in NY/NJ.
  • PE license with active FHWA NHI Training Certification is required.
  • Experience with agencies such as DOT, MTA, TBTA, PANYNJ.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for staff and clients.

STV currently has openings for a Bridge Inspection Team Leader in the Transportation group in New York, New York.

Responsibilities
  • Work as an integral part of the Bridge Practice in our Northeast bridge group.
  • Support structural bridge design group on selected projects and lead assigned tasks as appropriate.
  • Work with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and project delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group.
  • Support plan production by handling CAD layout and markups as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Master's degree is preferred but not required

Compensation Range: $111,977.00 - $127,247.00
