Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced CAD Operator to join our Structures team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. You will develop technical drawings using CAD and REVIT, perform complex drafting tasks, and help maintain drawing databases while coordinating with the project team.

The role requires strong knowledge of structural drafting standards, independent work capability, and collaboration with engineers to ensure quality control and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in structural drafting or design.
• Ability to develop technical drawings and plans using CAD and REVIT software.
• Detail oriented with professional attitude and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and quality-check drawings for structural, site, and heavy elements.
• Coordinate work to maintain schedules and ensure quality control.
• Possess knowledge of engineering principles and suggest design changes.
• May supervise and train CAD staff and maintain drawing databases.
