Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Downtown West Palm Beach, FL, seeks an Experienced CAD Operator to join our Land Development team. You will design and produce sets of plans for diverse land development projects and manage AutoCAD drafting standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of CAD experience, strong knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley products, and a detail-oriented, collaborative work style. This role offers growth within a respected engineering firm and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant CAD drafting experience on land development projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley products.
• Detail oriented with good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce plans for land development projects using CAD.
• Develop technical drawings and plans with CAD software.
• Quality check drawings and perform calculations as needed.
• Supervise and train CAD staff as needed.
• Coordinate work to meet schedules and ensure quality control.
• Familiarize with Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
