Benesch, a growing planning, engineering and professional services firm, seeks a Structural Designer to join the Structural team in Pittsburgh or Pottsville, PA. You will perform engineering models, analyses, and designs, coordinating drafting and documentation.

Qualifications include BS in Civil Engineering, E.I.T preferred, experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office, and ability to collaborate in a team and travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required; E.I.T preferred or PE in future.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team on challenging projects.

Responsibilities

• Collect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and/or design calculations.
• Draw design details under direction of Project Managers.
• Compute quantities and relate to pay items.
• Organize calculations for design files per project standards.
• Coordinate drafting of an element.
• Conduct field visits as needed.
• Develop knowledge of applicable codes and standards; use CAD and MS software.
