Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer for their Wilkes-Barre, PA office. The role requires a licensed PE in Pennsylvania with at least 8 years of experience in bridge design, load rating, and inspection. As the lead engineer, you will oversee various projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with PennDOT standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of bridge design, load rating and inspection experience.
• Experience working with PennDOT, specifically District 4-0 and PTC.
• Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead engineer on bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with structural staff development.
• Prepare and review structural and geometrical calculations.
