Job summary

Redwood Community Services, Inc. seeks a Program Supervisor for the STRTP to oversee daily operations of a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program serving youth with complex behavioral and mental health needs.

You will ensure trauma-informed, compliant care and provide leadership to direct care staff. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with clinical teams, maintaining regulatory documentation, managing budgets and safety, and collaborating with external partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to three years in a residential or STRTP setting.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MARs, SIRs, SCARs and regulatory compliance (CCL/DHCS).
• Experience managing staff schedules and program operations.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and behavioral management.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including CCL and DHCS.
• Oversee accurate and timely completion of all program documentation and audit readiness.
• Monitor daily operations, staffing and schedules for adequate coverage and efficiency.
• Supervise, train and support staff including hiring and performance management.
• Facilitate staff meetings and coach on trauma-informed care and de-escalation.
• Support implementation of individualized treatment plans with clinical teams.
• Maintain a safe, structured environment for youth in care.
• Oversee budgets, financial tracking, and administrative reporting to leadership.
• Coordinate with external partners and participate in interagency meetings.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, inspections, and reporting.
• Perform additional duties to support STRTP operations.
