Job summary

7 Alpha Foundation for Community Wellness seeks a STRTP Clinician to provide individual, family, and group therapy and case management for youth in a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program. Services occur on-site and in the community, emphasizing trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices for LA County’s diverse youth, including LGBTQIA+ populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an ASW, AMFT, or APCC.
• DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance (Community Care Licensing) required.
• Valid California driver's license and insurability.
• Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish or LA County languages).
• Experience with youth in out-of-home care or juvenile justice systems preferred.
• Knowledge of STRTP, CalAIM, and DCFS/Probation systems of care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy per CCP and treatment goals.
• Meet residents and supports weekly to advance treatment planning and reunification goals.
• Convene and participate in CFT meetings to develop treatment plans and strengthen supports.
• Coordinate and implement overall treatment and services, linking to psychiatric, medical, educational, and community services.
• Provide clinical consultation and case planning support to staff.
• Intervene in crisis and support de-escalation per trauma-informed approaches.
• Complete and maintain clinical documentation per Medi-Cal/EPSDT and STRTP requirements.
• Participate in the program's crisis response system, including after-hours on-call rotation.
• Cultivate relationships with DCFS, probation, regional centers, education, and community partners.
• Engage in individual and group clinical supervision.
• Apply culturally responsive, strengths-based, affirming care including LGBTQIA+ considerations.
• Maintain professional conduct aligning with agency mission and STRTP philosophy.
• Attend trainings, staff meetings, and licensing-related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Clinical Program Director.
