Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Stroke Program Manager to lead development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of the Stroke Center.

You will collaborate with the Stroke Program Medical Director to execute operations, guidelines, and performance improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating growth of Primary and Comprehensive Stroke Center standards, updating policies and educational materials, fostering staff development, community

Qualifications

• BSN or Master’s degree required.
• RN with a minimum of 3 years in a Rehabilitation or Neurologic Nursing Rehabilitation setting.
• Current licensure as Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania or licensure through reciprocity.
• Membership with ARN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate growth of Primary Stroke Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center standards; meet Joint Commission recommendations.
• Develop and update policies, procedures, care guidelines, clinical pathways, and educational materials.
• Improve quality of care through process improvement and data analysis; communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Foster staff development and education of stroke care providers.
• Participate in community education and Stroke Support Group.
• Evaluate new stroke care practices and implement research findings into clinical practice.
• Establish leadership presence and collaborate with administration, medical and nursing staff.
