Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a Stroke Program Lead to drive programmatic initiatives for the stroke sub-service line and ensure compliance with Primary Stroke Center certification. You will collaborate with the Stroke Committee Chairman and key stakeholders to promote quality stroke care, educate staff, and coordinate care across the continuum.

In this role you’ll function as clinician, educator, consultant, and researcher, overseeing care coordination, data analysis, and research to

Qualifications

Graduate from a nursing program required.
Associate's Degree with five (5) years of stroke care experience required or
Bachelor's Degree with three (3) years of stroke care experience required or
Master's degree preferred.
3 years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke care required or
5 years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke care required; data analysis/research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Programmatic initiatives for the stroke sub-service line and ensure compliance with Primary Stroke Center certification requirements.
Serve as the point of contact for stroke treatment, coordinating with Stroke Committee Chairman and stakeholders.
Promote quality care for stroke patients; educate, consult, and research to improve outcomes.
Coordinate and manage care of stroke patients to meet service needs and ensure continuity across the continuum.
