Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare related field preferred.
• Current state RN License.
• Five years clinical and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting which includes a minimum of inpatient experience preferred
• Knowledgeable on current State Laws and Regulations as applicable to facility and Stroke program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Stroke Program and actively participate in performance improvement data collection, activities, and functions to promote an integrated program.
• Assist with development and implementation of initiatives, policies and procedures, including staff education activities related to stroke care.
• Evaluate Stroke Program through data capture, follow-up and trend analysis and present findings to appropriate committees.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/performance measures for both the Risk and Stroke Programs.
