Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL seeks a Stroke Program Coordinator to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the Stroke Program across the continuum of care. This role requires collaboration with the Stroke Program Medical Director, Emergency Department and Inpatient Nursing leadership to drive high-quality, patient-centered stroke and neuro care.

The ideal candidate will be an expert nurse guiding multidisciplinary teams, overseeing process and performance

Qualifications

• Current state RN License required.
• One year's clinical, service line and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting which includes a minimum of 6 months of inpatient experience preferred in critical care or emergency department.
• Knowledgeable on current State Laws and Regulations as applicable to facility and the Stroke program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evaluation of the Stroke Program across care continuum.
• Collaborate with ED, nursing leadership, and medical director to improve patient outcomes.
