Job summary

St. Mary’s Hospital - Kankakee is seeking a Stroke Program leader to coordinate all activities, drive performance improvement, and educate staff on stroke care.

You will analyze data, report findings to committees, and work with a multidisciplinary team to implement new services and performance measures. The role requires a BSN with APN preferred and RN/APN licensure, plus BLS and 5+ years of clinical or management experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Masters (APN) preferred.
• RN or APN licensure; BLS certification.
• Five years clinical/management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting with inpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead all Stroke Program activities and data collection.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification, cost containment, and implementing new services and performance measures.
