Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital St Joseph is seeking a registered nurse to join a 30-bed Cardiac Progressive Unit caring for post-CVL procedures, cardiac and CHF patients, and chest pain/observation cases. This unit is a certified stroke center and chest pain unit, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1 days and 5-6 at night.

Qualifications

• MI Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• BLS within 90 days; ACLS within 1 year.
• NIH Stroke Certification (NIHSS) within 90 days.
• Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years.
• NCLEX licensure must be passed for non-accredited grads.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process with patient/family involvement.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care; document education and care plans.
