Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Nursing Technician to support patient care on the Progressive Care Unit at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph in Michigan. Under supervision of an RN or Provider, you will perform basic nursing tasks, observe patients, document findings, and communicate observations to the health care team.

You will participate in creating individualized care plans, maintain accurate records, and uphold privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification (AHA) within 90 days is required.
• BLS Certification (ARC) within 90 days is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports patients' physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs.
• Provides direct patient care under supervision of RN or Provider.
• Ensures that documentation is accurate and timely.
• Contributes to development of an individualized plan of care.
• Advocates for privacy and security of patient data.
