Job summary

Corewell Health Lakeland Hospitals in St Joseph, MI is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver comp­rehensive nursing care in the Surgical Observation Unit. You will follow the nursing process, partner with patients and families, and document education and care planning in the health record.

The role requires MI RN licensure, BLS, NIHSS and ACLS within specified timeframes, with day shifts and a 24-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Current MI RN license.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of start date.
• NIHSS certification within 90 days.
• ACLS certification within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under ANA scope of practice.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and discharge patients.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and health-care team.
• Educate patients and families; document learning in health records.
