Tenet Healthcare’s DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit seeks a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for Stroke Center coverage. You will support nursing staff, assist patients with daily living activities, and help maintain protocol adherence in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate patient contact, and the ability to respond to patient needs under RN supervision. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and PCA/PCT or CNA training, with 6 months direct

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from a practical nursing program or equivalent training.
• Certification programs: PCA/PCT, CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomy.
• With six months direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with care team to ensure consistent, quality care.
• Perform basic patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Assist ADLs: feeding, bathing, toileting, hygiene.
• Follow departmental policies, safety, and infection control standards.
• Report changes in patient condition to RN and communicate with families.
• Occasionally perform general clerical duties as needed.
