Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Stroke Center at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. The PCA will perform multi-skilled patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, supporting daily living activities and reporting changes in patient conditions.

This role emphasizes teamwork, confidentiality, and adherence to safety and infection control standards while contributing to continuous improvement and compassionate care across the unit.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from a school of practical nursing or equivalent.
• Completion of one of: a) Certified PCA/PCT Program; b) Certified CNA program; c) Medical Assistant; d) EMT program; e) Phlebotomy program.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with care team to ensure quality care and continuous improvement.
• Perform basic patient care under RN supervision and report changes to RN.
• Assist patients with daily living activities.
• Follow departmental policies, safety and infection control standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and explain procedures to patients/families.
• Assist with clerical duties such as phones, greeting patients, and messages.
