Qualifications

• Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 elementary endorsement.
• Strong interpersonal communication with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to informally assess learning and behavioral needs of students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s academic, social, communication, and behavioral goals.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons using evidence-based strategies.
• Apply evidence-based practices such as ABA, Structured Teaching, and Visual Supports.
• Deliver curriculum with fidelity.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; communicate with parents regularly.
• Regularly inform parents about student progress and strategies.
• Use positive behavior supports and proactive interventions.
• Collect progress data and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
