Job summary

Commerce City is seeking an entry-level Streets Operations Technician to help maintain and repair our streets, sidewalks, bridges, and drainage systems. The role offers hands-on training and growth opportunities as you learn essential municipal infrastructure skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some municipal maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license.
• Must obtain a Commercial Driver's License Class "B" within three months of date of hire and maintain during the course of employment.
• Flagger certification is required within one year of hire and must be maintained during the course of employment.
• Other applicable certifications may be required at City expense.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair streets, sidewalks, bridges, and drainage systems.
• participate in training and perform duties as directed to support streets operations.

Hiring Range $23.51 - $26.12
