Job summary

City of Commerce City is seeking a Streets Operations Technician to support maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, bridges and drainage. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and opportunities to learn municipal infrastructure in a growing community.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid Colorado driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a CDL Class B within three months. Flagger certification is needed within one year.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. Hiring Range $23.51 - $26.12

Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license. Must obtain a Commercial Driver's License Class "B" within three months of date of hire and maintain during the course of employment. Flagger certification is required within one year of hire and must be maintained during the course of employment. Other applicable certifications may be required at City expense. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
