Job summary

City of Flagstaff seeks a Streets Supervisor to lead frontline teams in street maintenance, snow/ice operations, and roadway safety. You will supervise staff, plan work, manage equipment, and coordinate with other city departments.

Responsibilities include safety training, performance tracking, budgeting input, and responding to emergencies after hours. Candidates need an Associate degree and 3 years supervisory experience; a CDL is required.

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree required.
• 3 years related experience incl. safety/training.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Valid Arizona Class B CDL required (Hazmat/Tanker for Fleet).
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise street maintenance teams and operations.
• Coordinate with vendors on materials, pricing, and services.
• Plan, schedule, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with emergencies, weather events, and after-hours responses.
• Maintain records, reports, and performance metrics.
