Job summary

The City of Central Point is hiring a Utility Worker I in the Streets Division to support the maintenance, repair and improvement of the City's infrastructure systems. These full-time, hands-on positions require reliability, a willingness to perform physical outdoor work, and pride in serving the community.

Salary ranges from $4,181 to $5,604 per month ($24.12 - $32.33 hourly). Employees remain at Step A until the required CDL A is obtained, then placed at the appropriate step based on

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) with basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Some manual labor or general construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and improve the City's infrastructure systems.
• Work outdoors in physical, hands-on environments.
• Support operations of Streets Division and respond to maintenance needs.
