Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2–3 years of related experience in general labor and heavy equipment operation.
• Must have or obtain within six months a valid state CDL Class B with air brake endorsement and tanker endorsement, no K restriction.
• Must have flagger certification and work zone training; complete required NIMS level training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Set grade for concrete, asphalt, or earthwork projects.
• Perform roadside maintenance, snow removal, and street sweeping.
• Assist other crews as necessary and train on heavy equipment operation.
• May perform emergency repairs or cleaning duties during regular hours.
