Humana seeks a Director of Public Affairs & Strategy to lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives at the nexus of business strategy and healthcare policy. You will frame issues, develop policy positions, and execute coordinated strategies with senior leaders.

This role requires strategic thinking, ownership, and the ability to translate complexity into clear recommendations. You will report to the SVP of Strategy & Public Affairs and oversee end-to-end work streams while influencing

Qualifications

• 7+ years in management consulting, corporate strategy, or healthcare strategy.
• Deep knowledge of the U.S. healthcare industry, including payer/provider experience.
• Ability to independently structure ambiguous problems and lead cross-functional work.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Owns complex workstreams with limited direction and drives execution.
• Demonstrates strategic thinking, judgment, and emotional intelligence.

• Lead cross-functional workstreams end to end with defined scope and milestones.
