Via is transforming transportation through technology and a bold, fast-paced culture. We seek a Director of Strategy and Operations to manage Via’s first-of-its-kind intermodal transit service in Montgomery.

The role blends entrepreneurship, business development, and operations leadership to optimize performance and customer experience. You will lead a team of drivers and dispatchers, build strategic relationships with partners, and deliver metrics-driven improvements across scheduling,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of operations management experience.
• Independent self-starter thriving in fast-paced environments.
• Savvy communicator with appropriate tone for situations.
• Desire to deliver world-class customer service.
• Proven track record leading teams and developing people.
• Experience leading support teams and coordinating cross-functional partners.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Strong ability to motivate and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the on-site daily operations of Via’s service in Montgomery.
• Prioritize operational issues as a real-time point of contact for drivers and dispatchers and provide solutions for scheduling 24/7.
• Manage and mentor the on-site team of dispatchers and shift managers.
• Be the face of the operation; develop relationships with drivers, customers, community leaders, and local organizations.
• Liaise with Via senior management and external partners.
