Job summary

Foundation Marketing is seeking a Strategy Manager to lead the strategy practice, owning senior client oversight, developing strategists, and freeing VP-level leadership to focus on growth, team structure, and direction.

The Strategy Manager will oversee a $2M+ book of business, guide GEO and content strategy, and drive performance through a small, high-impact team of strategists, partnering with Account Management on expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in digital strategy, content strategy, or multi-channel marketing strategy, with at least 2 years in a senior or oversight capacity.
• Demonstrated experience managing or meaningfully developing at least one direct report
• Proven GEO fluency: content strategies designed for AI-driven answer engines

Responsibilities

• Own the client oversight relationship with budget decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
• Oversee GEO and content strategy execution across your accounts and review deliverables.
• Lead 3–5 strategists with PDPs, 1:1s, and career development.
• Identify upsell opportunities and participate in strategic sales discussions where appropriate.
