King & Sykes is seeking Strategy Associates in Dallas to join a high-growth, PE-backed energy and infrastructure business. The Strategy team builds its own tools and automations, pulling in public data on power, permitting and customer demand to create a unified view.

You will learn a function deeply, then build fixes yourself or enable in-house developers to scale them. We value candidates who have built or automated something real, regardless of prior energy experience.

Formación

• 2 to 4 years at MBB, Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, Bain, Deloitte S&O, A&M or comparable firm.
• 1 to 2 years out of undergrad with 1 to 2 years of consulting will also be considered.
• Strong structured problem-solving is the one non-negotiable.
• Evidence you have built or automated something real, however you built it.
• No energy experience required

We are retained by a PE-backed energy and infrastructure business in Dallas to hire 3 Strategy Associates as a cohort. One of the seats suits a consultant who builds.

Strategy that ships

This Strategy team does not stop at the deck. It builds. The team builds its own applications and automations, from internal tools that pull public data on power, permitting and customer demand into one place, to agents that take work off other teams. You learn a function deeply, find where the time goes, and then build the fix yourself or design it to the point where the in-house developers can run with it.

You do not need to be a software engineer. You need to know what good looks like, direct modern AI tools well and own the result. If you have already built an agent or tool that people on your team actually use, that is the experience we want to hear about.

The role

The Strategy team acts as the company's problem-solving unit. Work spans growth strategy, market outlook, process improvement and operating model design, plus a growing share of product development. Some seats lean towards pure strategy and others towards the business-to-technology bridge, and the mix will move as the team grows.

There is no research desk and no offshore team, so you own the answer. Speed is valued above polish, and the team will take a good answer this week over a perfect one next month. Associates can embed into a business unit as its strategy lead after roughly 18 months.

The package

$150k base, 40 to 50% target bonus and equity. Dallas, in office.
