We are growing our practice advising clients on AI strategy and governance, helping them adopt generative AI. Senior Consultant will own defined workstreams on strategy and AI engagements, building models and decks, running workshops, and gaining client exposure early.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in management consulting or comparable advisory role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience turning data into clear recommendations.
• Advanced Excel (modeling, PivotTables, Power Query) and PowerPoint (executive-quality slides).
• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude).
• Clear, concise writing and presentation skills.
• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, data gathering, and financial/operational analyses on strategy engagements.
• Build Excel models and executive-ready PowerPoint decks that turn findings into recommendations.
• Prepare and co-facilitate planning sessions and workshops with agendas, materials, notes, and follow-ups.
• Manage your workstreams day to day: trackers, status updates, deadlines, and client contact.
• Support AI readiness assessments, use-case identification and prioritization, and phased adoption roadmaps.
• Research AI governance frameworks (NIST, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act) and help draft policies and guardrails.
• Use generative AI tools in your own work to speed up research, analysis, and drafting.

Founded and led by an experienced CEO/President, the firm partners with executive teams to turn ambition into workable strategy and disciplined execution. We are also growing our practice advising clients on AI strategy and governance, helping them lay the foundation for adopting generative AI.

The Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will work alongside our founder on strategy, strategic-planning, and AI engagements. You will own defined workstreams within an engagement: doing the research and analysis, building the models and decks, and helping run the workshops. In a firm our size you will see every part of the work and get real client exposure early. This role suits someone with 5-8 years of experience who wants to grow quickly and take on more each year.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Planning & Strategy Consulting

Strategy consulting & strategic planning

• Conduct research, data gathering, and financial and operational analysis on strategy and planning engagements.
• Build Excel models and executive-ready PowerPoint decks that turn findings into clear recommendations.

• Manage your workstreams day to day: trackers, status updates, deadlines, and working contact with client team members.
• Support AI readiness assessments, use-case identification and prioritization, and phased adoption roadmaps.
• Research AI governance frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act, and help draft policies and guardrails clients can actually use.
• Use generative AI tools in your own work to speed up research, analysis, and drafting.

Firm building

• Help develop templates, tools, and reusable materials that improve the quality and speed of our work.
• Contribute to proposals, scoping, and thought leadership.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5 - 8 years in management consulting or a comparable advisory role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience turning data into clear recommendations.
• Advanced Excel (modeling, PivotTables, Power Query) and PowerPoint (executive-quality slides); comfortable in Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude) in your work, and an interest in AI governance and responsible adoption.
• Clear, concise writing and presentation skills.
• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving firm: you are as willing to take the notes as to present the findings.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field.

Preferred

• MBA or relevant advanced degree.
• Experience at a Big Four or comparable consulting firm.
• Exposure to AI strategy, readiness, or governance projects.
• Experience with strategic planning, goal setting, or OKRs.
• Power BI, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio.
• Exposure to people, organization, or change-management topics.

Total Compensation and Benefits

Performance Bonus: Eligible for an annual bonus of up to 10% of base salary, based on individual and company performance.
