Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior consultant to lead workforce transformation efforts for the United States Secret Service. You will drive development of strategic human capital and growth plans, analyze workforce data, and guide implementation with senior leadership in mind.

The role requires strong management consulting background in workforce transformation, DHS-related experience, and excellent communication skills across all levels.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; approved adjudication required prior to onboarding
• Bachelor’s degree
• Five (5) years of relevant experience leading strategic workforce transformation efforts and directing the work of a team
• Three (3) or more years of management consulting experience in workforce transformation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
• Experience consulting for the DHS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business
• Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships
• Up to 10% travel required

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce transformation efforts for the United States Secret Service organization
• Lead a workstream supporting development of a strategic human capital plan and growth plan
• Analyze workforce data and glean insights on trends and opportunities
• Support human capital strategy and implementation plan development
• Support stakeholder engagement approaches and initiatives
• Assist in developing metrics to evaluate strategic human capital plan effectiveness
• Prepare for and lead internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefings
• Support multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, standards adherence, and timely delivery
• Prepare briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans to communicate program status and progress to senior leaders
• Work under the direction of a Managing Consultant
