Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager of Project Management focused on Workforce Strategy and serving as a Labor Advisor to Bank Tech teams in the Richmond area. You will partner with engineering leaders and Chiefs of Staff to shape staffing plans for AI-driven, efficient teams and provide counsel to leaders on workforce mix.

The role emphasizes strategic delivery and process optimization. The position requires 5+ years of PM experience, strong communication with executives, and a MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, process management, or program management
• At least 2 years of experience working with senior stakeholders across different business functions
• At least 2 years of experience writing communications and presentations for leadership and non-leadership audiences

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships and leverage outstanding communication skills to inform, align, and influence stakeholders at all levels across the company
• Serve as a strategic and tactical thought partner to customers and cross-functional teams to drive seamless delivery
• Leverage strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure execution aligns with business intent
• Utilize strong oral, written, and presentation skills to communicate effectively across diverse teams and organizational levels
• React seamlessly to shifting priorities and delivery focus, maintaining momentum in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate a self-motivated approach to identifying gaps and taking initiative without constant oversight
• Execute a disciplined, strategic approach to optimizing internal processes and operational workflows
• Effectively balance long-term strategic thinking with the day-to-day tactical delivery required to keep operations running smoothly
