Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an experienced strategist to consult on enterprise skills programs and lead workforce-planning initiatives for the Charlotte team. You will partner with HR and business leaders to advance a skills-enabled framework, deliver reporting, and guide cross-functional projects.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data analysis, mentorship, and independent work in a regular/full-time capacity on the 1st shift in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Five years of professional experience or equivalent.
• Three years of demonstrated experience using principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Human Resources discipline.
• Understanding of foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines.
• Experience managing projects or project work streams.
• Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market.
• Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.
• Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult and deliver on strategies and programs for the enterprise that focus on teammate skills.
• Provide comprehensive support for strategic initiatives related to enterprise-wide skills programs and processes.
• Apply knowledge of best practices to take a new perspective on existing solutions and solve complex problems.
• Employ strong written and oral communication skills to interact with individuals and groups at all levels.
• Analyze data, draw conclusions, design reporting collateral; create customized communication plans for business unit HR initiatives.
• Lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.
• Act as a resource for teammates with less experience.
• Work independently and receive minimal guidance.
