Job summary

Truist is seeking a Lead Executive Recruiter to provide advanced talent acquisition leadership for Corporate Functions in an in-office capacity in Charlotte. You will lead high-impact executive searches, translate workforce needs into search strategies, and advise senior leaders on market conditions and candidate pools.

The role requires 10+ years of recruitment experience, strong stakeholder influence, and proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Workday/Phenom is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work experience.
• 10+ years of progressive recruiting experience, including senior or executive search.
• Expertise in talent acquisition strategy, labor market analysis, and workforce planning.
• Advanced knowledge of recruiting processes, risk, and compliance.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive improvements with measurable impact.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.

• Lead senior-level, executive, difficult-to-fill searches across teams.
• Translate workforce needs into search strategies and candidate value propositions.
• Advise senior leaders on talent availability and market conditions.
• Direct market mapping and talent intelligence for leadership roles.
• Manage confidential relationships with senior candidates.
• Design structured interview and selection processes.
• Partner on complex offer strategies with Compensation and HR.
• Build leadership pipelines and external talent networks.
• Oversee executive-search firms and evaluate performance.
• Improve executive-search practices and governance.
