Job summary

FireKeepers Casino Hotel seeks an experienced Risk Management professional to oversee the workers' compensation program, manage claims, and drive safety compliance across the casino, hotel, and facilities.

The role requires a strong background in risk management, OSHA standards, and incident investigation, with opportunities for professional certification and leadership within the risk team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in written and verbal English communication is required.
• Six years combination of education and claims adjuster experience, preferably in worker's compensation claims.
• Must be able to obtain CWCP and OSHA 10 Hour certifications within six months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workers' compensation program and manage claims for medical and lost-time claims.
• Supervise the Risk Coordinator and support staff.
• Ensure OSHA and safety regulatory compliance across the property.
• Conduct daily property safety inspections and hazard mitigation.
• Develop safety training programs and quarterly compliance reporting.
• Maintain departmental records and loss/run metrics.
• Travel as needed for training and audits.
