Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a Wave Planning Coordinator to efficiently execute WMS processes in line with the delivery schedule. You will pre-wave routes to maximize stop and route capacity per lane, helping to reduce transportation costs and ensure on-time customer orders.

The role requires coordinating with the DC management team, creating SOPs for wave research, and supporting add-ons and inventory adjustments within the waving workflow. Strong organizational skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred.
• Some customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Understanding of warehousing and distribution processes.
• Dedicated to business with flexibility in work hours.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the route calendar and the delivery schedule, wave routes according to the warehouse schedule to ensure timely picking of product in DCs utilizing Manhattan.
• Using the delivery schedule and working with the DC management team to ensure all routes are pre-waved and ready for the DC pick process to occur.
• Create and follow SOPs for wave research related to failures, overages, and locations. Work with DC partners to ensure all scheduled pieces make it into picking on time to avoid delays to customer orders or a negative impact to delivered sales.
• Provide support as it relates to add-ons, pull-offs, and other inventory adjustments impacted by the waving process.
• Support transportation with TMS (Transportation Management System).
