Job summary

Sleep Number Corporation seeks a Wave Planner to coordinate WMS workflow batches and daily plans with Logistics, Transportation, Materials Planning and Field Services. The role drives on-time order fulfillment, reduces waste, and collaborates with site leaders to optimize daily production targets.

You will monitor waves, resolve exceptions, and support continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites, including ADC and Bedding.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years similar experience in a distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with WMS systems required (Oracle preferred).
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Formal Lean or Six Sigma training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review daily backlog/orders and plan WMS waves to ship on time.
• Create and maintain weekly truck plan with leadership and Transportation.
• Manage planning and releasing of orders and replenishments to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Communicate with Transportation, Materials Planning, Field Services and Operations daily to plan and resolve issues.
