Job summary

SanMar-Internal is seeking a Wave Planner to build and release orders using internal systems, coordinating daily workflow by priority. The role emphasizes accurate scheduling, strong communication, and efficient palletizing processes in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include using internal OS to release orders, estimating completion time, and maintaining safety and organization. Weekend hours may be required; attention to detail is essential for accuracy in SKUs and labels.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Internal Operating Systems (MS Office and WMS).
• Ability to read, write, identify colors, sizes, quantity, labels and SKU information.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow directions while handling changing priorities.
• Excellent communication; able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to handle stress and meet deadlines; strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Familiarity with Internal Operating Systems and MS Office to perform necessary functions.
• Willingness to work extra hours as required, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Use Internal Operating Systems to build and release orders for processing.
• Estimate time to complete jobs based on schedules.
• Communicate with leadership and coworkers daily to ensure efficient workflow.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and complete tasks efficiently.
• Understand Hi-Jump reporting to optimize pallet building, releasing orders, and restocking priorities.
• Check out equipment and return in the same condition.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area following SanMar safety rules.
