Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to serve as the primary onsite leader for the shift, guiding department managers and hourly associates to meet targets and adapt to changing priorities.

You will balance workloads across warehouse functions, drive safety and housekeeping, recruit and develop staff, and partner with supply chain, stores, and HR to ensure on-time customer commitments and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• 4+ yrs of progressive leadership experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work holidays/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations and enforce warehouse policies.
• Lead department managers and hourly staff to meet targets.
• Balance workloads across warehouse departments for optimal workflow.
• Recruit, train, and develop associates to support growth.
• Partner with front line managers to review performance and conduct team meetings.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure on-time customer commitments.
• Drive a culture of safety and maintain housekeeping standards.
