  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, public administration or related field.
  • Five years of mid to senior level supervisory management and budgeting experience in workforce development.
  • Experience in workforce development, needs assessment, and grants administration.
  • Strategic leadership with managerial experience.
  • Experience developing credit and noncredit programs.
  • Experience promoting workforce development to the community.
  • Commitment to equity and collaboration with faculty on blended course designs.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with diverse constituencies.

Responsibilities

  • Aligns workforce and training programs with academic, industry and public sector needs; develops partnerships with businesses to identify training needs.
  • Provides leadership in course and programmatic design, instructional delivery and assessment activities; conducts research and analysis to evaluate viability of new and existing non-credit programs.
  • Advises business and industry partners on grant options to support workforce skills improvement.
  • Provides overall leadership for the workforce training; supervises the team and reports to CCRI's President and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Manages noncredit curriculum planning, program development and implementation, and program review, supervision and leadership to staff.
  • Leads strategic planning for the division, budget development, and assessment of institutional effectiveness measures.
  • Helps identify and secure resources to support professional development.
  • Serves as liaison to economic and workforce training agencies, employer partners, and committees; aligns with college initiatives and plans.
  • Oversees marketing strategies and outreach leading to enrollment growth.
  • Communicates with Grants Committee regarding grant proposals.
  • Ensures division compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
