Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and oversight for assigned Administrative Services functions and supports the VPAS/CFO in planning, implementation, and evaluation of college administrative operations.
• Coordinates activities across Administrative Services to promote communication, collaboration, accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Assists in developing divisional goals, policies, procedures, internal controls, performance measures, and operational standards.
• Participates in annual budgets, grants, capital resources, and multi-year financial plans, including monitoring expenditures and forecasting needs.
• Supports management of all-funds budget and financial planning, including trend analysis and resource allocation.
• Serves as financial and administrative advisor to the VPAS/CFO, offering analysis and recommendations.
• Assists with annual financial audits, compliance reviews, reporting, and regulatory deliverables.
• Monitors compliance with policies and regulations; supports required changes.
• Supports risk management and internal control activities to mitigate risks.
• Leads or participates in institution-wide initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Prepares and presents financial and administrative information for boards and executives.
• Represents the VPAS/CFO at meetings with college, system, Board, and external stakeholders.
• Promotes effective administrative services through collaboration with stakeholders.
• May exercise delegated authority and serve as Acting Vice President during absence.
