Job summary

ALTOUR is seeking a Sourcing Manager with event experience to drive strategic venue sourcing for meetings and events across assigned programs. You will lead RFP processes, negotiate with venues, and ensure seamless hand‑offs to Meeting Planners for program execution.

The role emphasizes aligning sourcing decisions with client business objectives, managing venue budgets, and maintaining accurate data in internal systems. Travel is required (15–25%).

Qualifications

• No less than 3 years of related experience in the meeting and events industry with sourcing focus.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of venue sourcing for low to medium complexity client meetings and events with a focus on client satisfaction and achievement of client strategic business objectives.
• Strategic advisor for project venue selection and sourcing, including defining meeting objectives and incorporating client goals into sourcing processes.
• Own sourcing strategy execution using CVent and other tools to source proposals through RFP processes and negotiate with venues.
• Ensure accurate data input and project records in internal systems; manage day-to-day client budget visibility and inputs for financial close.
• Educate self and teammates on venue trends, sourcing practices, and client service; participate in vendor-supported education opportunities.
