Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or 1+ years Encore or equivalent experience.
• 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred.
• Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred.
• Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach.
• Prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to capture and service events.
• Attend site visits and planning meetings to support the customer event experience.
• Understand event cost structure and incorporate into designs per profitability guidelines.
• Deliver World-Class Service by cultivating relationships with customers and venue personnel.
• Research customer history to create personalized experiences.
• Attend meetings, understand goals, and respond to questions and challenges.
• Ensure CRM data is up to date and accurate at all times.
• Refer and guide customers through Encore network to secure additional opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline to meet revenue targets.
• Keep opportunities in CRM and updated; support sales forecasting.
