Job summary

Flok seeks an autonomous Venue Sourcing Manager to drive end-to-end venue selection for corporate retreats. You will own the brief, run RFPs, negotiate rates and concessions, and deliver a signed contract across multi-client programs.

You will pull comps, analyze proposals, and manage timelines, working independently to move opportunities forward with minimal direction while ensuring client needs are translated into compelling venue recommendations.

Qualifications

• Own a contract line, quota, or commission.
• Background in hotel group sales, convention services, CVB/National sales, or third-party sourcing (HelmsBriscoe, ConferenceDirect, HPN Global) or a DMC/TMC.
• Sourced single-property programs with room blocks above 200; negotiate on space and rate.

What this role is

You own venue sourcing from brief to signed contract. You run multiple RFPs at once, pull and analyze your own comps, negotiate the deal, and hand planning a clean, contract-ready venue. This is autonomous, project-based work for someone who runs their own book, not a support seat on a sourcing team.

What we are looking for

• You have carried a number: a quota, commission, or full ownership of a contract line
• Background as a hotel group sales manager, convention services manager, CVB national sales manager, or sourcing manager at a third-party firm (HelmsBriscoe, ConferenceDirect, HPN Global) or a DMC/TMC
• You have sourced single-property programs with room blocks above 200, where the venue set is small and the negotiation is on space as much as rate
• You pull your own comps and run RFPs without being walked through them
• You decide on thin information and move, rather than waiting for direction
• You want flexible, autonomous, project-based work
